The Everett Rock & Gem Club is again sponsoring a bus trip to the Canadian Regional Gem Show. The bus WILL LEAVE Everett at 7:00am SHARP from 840 North Broadway, park in the State of Washington building lot south end of building, facing Tower St, NW corner of Broadway & Tower Streets. There will be stops to pick up passengers at the Safeway Store in Marysville (State & Grove Street, 7:15am), Denny’s Restaurant (along East side) at Island Crossing (7:30am), and Skagit Valley Square in Mount Vernon (7:50am). Please wear your club name badge and/or vest to let the B.C. Rockhounds know who we are. We also want them to attend our shows. It is a good idea to exchange U.S. money before going on the trip.

There is a mobile catering service at the show, or you may bring a sack lunch. The bus will be open from 12:00-1:00pm and locked during the remainder of the time we are there. We have buffet dinner reservations in Mt. Vernon on the return trip. Arrival back in Everett will be approximately 8:00pm.

Cost per round trip, is $20.00. YOUR CHECK IS YOUR RESERVATION. Make checks payable to Everett Rock & Gem Club. Mail to: Mel Buhr, PO Box 1631, Everett, WA 98206. Additional costs (paid on day of show) are admission, $6.00 for adults and dinner is approximately $16.00. Call 360-658-7435 for more information.

NEW PROCESS AT BORDER !

To avoid a prolonged wait time at the border, we are going to submit (fax) the passenger list to the Canadian Officials on April 3th.

Either a Passport or an Enhanced WA Driver’s License is REQUIRED!

INFO NEEDED ON YOUR RESERVATION IS: (1) FULL NAME AS IT APPEARS ON YOUR PASSPORT OR LICENSE, AND (2) DOCUMENT NUMBER ON YOUR PASSPORT OR LICENSE YOU ARE USING.

Please let Mel Buhr know at which stop you plan to board the bus so he may have a count of those expected to be there. To prevent missing the bus, please be punctual at your pick-up location so we all can enjoy a fun Field Trip!!

NOTE:  The theme of this year's show is "History of Mining"
